Meditation in Therapy
Meditation is a state of calm that helps to
reduce stress, improves the efficiency of the immune system and assists
the body in healing and recovery.
Additionally Meditation is used by a range
of cultures in other healing ways, including Chakra work, Reiki healing,
Crystal healing meditation, Self-hypnosis, Prayer healing and Casting.
In conventional medicine, mental health
consultants recommend meditation to combat depression, anxiety and stress.
Whether your leaning is Clinical, spiritual
or practical, meditation is very useful for you and your health.
Meditation is provided in practice in the
Training to Survive Clinics as part of the Complementary Health education
therapeutic training and empowerment programme. it is not a stand
alone topic as such, being part of the life-style and complementary health
self-help training that clients receive in order to manage and improve
their condition.
