Clinical Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy  and Counselling Strategies for Medical Conditions: "Clinical Hypnotherapy"

NOTE:
ALL medical conditions must first be presented to a medical doctor.

Clinical Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy and Counselling can assist a variety of Medical Issues

Assistance can be found in a variety of ways. First however you should always consult a medical doctor for medical advice. You should also always inform your medical doctor if you choose to use complementary medicine. We only assist clients who maintain contact with medical doctors. Use of these therapies in clinical cases is only as part of an overall care plan, and only with ongoing medical supervision.

  • Reduce Inflammation and Pain, controlling these with healing and Hypnosis
  • Reduce Stress and Anxiety about illness that negatively effect pain tolerance and aggravate conditions such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Stomach ulcers, Colitis, Eczema and Psoriasis.
  • Improve your body's ability to heal with positive visualisation and reduced stress levels
  • Combat and control phobic reactions such as fear and Panic Attacks
  • Improve performance in dealing with allergic reactions (stress and other holistic factors worsen allergy symptoms)
  • Improve general holistic healing
  • Address mental health to create positive attitudes and optimum mental state for healing and coping.
  • Prevent self destructive mental states such as depression from setting in or continuing.
  • Reduce stress flare ups of many skin conditions.
  • Reduce stress component and "white coat syndrome" in blood pressure cases.
  • Address stress factors in chronic fatigue and other ME related complaints which are recognised to have a major stress component.

Do I have to be a deep-trance subject for clinical hypnotherapy ?

NO - the majority of therapeutical work does not require a deep trance and for most complaints this is one of these majority areas.

Although complementary practitioners are prohibited from making claims to cure or treat many medical conditions, it is recognised that historically many conditions have been positively effected. In most cases symptoms or related pain and distress can be assisted even where the condition can not be "treated" officially.

Clinical Counselling and clinical Psychotherapy for clinical conditions

Clinical counselling and psychotherapy can assist in dealing with the mental, or psychosomatic components involved in many conditions. They can also improve the state of mind of the client, ensuring the optimum mental state for coping and self healing. Behavioural techniques are often very important in such cases.

Lifestyle or Life Coaching with clinical conditions

Some conditions respond well to differences in lifestyle and strategies. A combination of holistic hypnotherapy, stress counselling and altered lifestyle / coping patterns can make a major difference to a number of conditions.

Also where trauma or stress (past or present) are aggravating a condition, or indeed where the condition itself is stressful, counselling and relaxation can greatly help the person to cope and enable themselves to better heal themselves.

Social work skills may also be provided so as to ensure that all possible assistance is being obtained from statutory bodies (e.g. DLA, Social Services etc).

Who provides this assistance?
