The Origins of this system are
in Africa where since ancient times people have used bones to try
to divine the future. There are two basic systems - the
system using over 60 bones and the system using just 4.
I use the 4 bone system !
Each bone is a different type
- the Thola, the Cohado, the Scita and the Imbay.
Bones have a part to lay in
our lives already - although the significance is watered
down. We still hear refernce in the language used around us.

It is believed that the
very patterns of nature that exist all around us are mirrored in
the pattern of bones in each living creature, thus by using them,
we can connect with the divine and gain information of the
future, present and past.
A casting is done in
three parts.
The first casting of
the bones determines the past and what should be learnt from it.
The second the present
The third the future.
As the bones are cast
they are cast 2-handed onto a casting cloth. By calculating
the direction in relation to the elements on the cloth, the
casting practioner can calculate the oracle reference number.
The practitioner then uses the information given by the subject
and relates the oracle wisdom to them for each time period.

The oracle of the bones
is blunt in its wisdom and can often be seen as "telling
